This world? It’s just a temporary stop, a rest area, not our final destination. We’re like travelers passing through, heading toward a Kingdom far greater than anything we’ve seen. And in that Kingdom? No sorrow, no struggles, just pure joy as we stand in awe of our holy God. But for now, while we’re here on this earth, life comes with its share of trials.
The good news? We’re not left to figure it out alone. Our King isn’t just waiting for us at the finish line, He’s with us right now! He gave us His Holy Spirit to strengthen, comfort, and guide us through every battle. And speaking of battles, Paul reminds us in Ephesians 6:12 that our biggest fights aren’t against people but against unseen spiritual forces. The enemy is always scheming, trying to shake our faith and throw obstacles in our path. But guess what? He doesn’t stand a chance against the One who holds us in His hands!
King David knew this well, God is our refuge, our safe place, our unshakable foundation. Jesus Himself promised in John 10:28 that no one can take us from His hand. If the One who created the heavens and the earth is holding onto us, what challenge could possibly overpower us?
That’s why Paul boldly declared in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Life will throw its curveballs, but we don’t have to run and hide, we already have the ultimate hiding place. Christ our shelter, our source of strength, and our victory. And with Him? We can face anything!
